Olivet Academy in Amenia, NY recently started holding weekly teacher-student video conferences where teachers are helping students make progress on distance learning studies that started in mid-March.
Some teachers are using part of the time to give short lessons.
Olivet Academy in Amenia started distance learning after government health guidelines about the Coronavirus pandemic mandated closure of all schools in the county.
The Teacher-Parent video conferences started with prayers that the school, parents and teachers could unite for the benefit of the children.
Teachers urged parents to work together to make sure students complete their assigments in a timely manner.
Olivet Academy has also asked parents to let their children attend morning services each day online and complete a morning service-related assignment.
Please pray for Olivet Academy’s teachers, staff and students to center their class cooperation on faith in Jesus Christ, sharing God’s grace in all that they do.
