After a stretch of challenges, the Olivet Academy Amenia boys soccer team came back with a big win. On Saturday, October 17, the team showed strength and teamwork while playing with new formations against Marvelwood School on the OAc home field.
The weather was much colder than at previous games, but the field was full of energy and enthusiasm.
The team worked through its defensive weakness in the first 10 minutes of the game, then kept attacking the opponent’s net for the rest of the match. The final score was 9-1.
More than the score itself, the boys gained their confidence back and played the way they had practiced.
