This year our students facilitated setting up donation boxes throughout the community. Students also managed, organized and set up a fundraiser. We used all the financial support through our fundraiser to purchase non-perishable food items.
The students facilitate all phases of this process.
Students made a list and physically went to the grocery store to purchase non-perishable food items. Students communicate with Dutchess Outreach Inc to schedule delivery date and deliver well over 2,000+ food items.
Empowering our young students to have the ability to have decision making is rewarding. However it teaches them humility, adversity as mistakes through miscommunication and lack of experience can happen at times.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all health club members, teachers, staff, unwavering support from community and the student body. Thank you for your donations, financial support, and assistance.
This year we doubled the map of non-perishable food in our partnership with Duchess Outreach inc.
