February 4, 2025, 4:30 p.m. ET

During the morning worship service, 9th and 10th-grade students had the opportunity to present songs of praise to God, showcasing what they had practiced in their music class throughout Quarter 2. This performance also served as a practical assessment for their music course, contributing to their overall grade.

Each group presented a worship song before God:

  • Group VivaceHe Abides
  • Group Laundry Detergent’Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus
  • Group Mewing MusiciansHigher Ground
  • Group PotatoesI Know Whom I Have Believed
  • Group RainbowStep by Step

This class is designed to teach students to praise God using the greatest instrument given to humanity—the voice. It also aims to equip them to continue worshiping God through music, wherever they may go in the future, whether on the mission field or elsewhere.

Through this class, students not only learn how to harmonize and blend their voices but also develop values of teamwork and leadership through group activities.

Compared to Quarter 1, students explored more diverse choir concepts, collaborating within their groups to offer beautiful worship. In Quarter 3, they will take on more challenging and intricate pieces. Please pray that God grants them wisdom and grace so they may practice well and offer joyful praise to Him.
