Students are required to purchase the following items from the online retailer:
- Custom Embroidered White Polo Shirts (Recommended: 2–3)
- Custom Embroidered Navy Sweaters (Recommended: 1–2)
- Gray Dress Pants (Recommended: 1–2)
- Knee-Length Custom Plaid Skirt (Girls Only, Recommended: 1)
In addition, students may wear the following uniform items from any brand:
- White button-down dress shirts
- Closed-toe shoes (No flip-flops, Crocs, or sandals)
- Gray shorts (warm weather only; must be khaki/chino style – no jeans, athletic wear, leggings, or sweatpants). Shorts may not be worn once daily temperatures fall below 15.5°C (60°F).
The school will provide each student with one (1) tie for free. Students will be responsible for replacing the tie if it is lost or damaged during the school year.
Uniform items must not differ in brand, color, or design from those provided by the approved retailer.
Note: This restriction does not apply to shoes, socks, belts, shorts, or button-down dress shirts.
Students MUST comply with the uniform policy every school day and during special school events.
Students out of uniform will receive disciplinary infractions, which may accumulate to detention, parent conferences, and, ultimately, expulsion.
All uniform items should be labeled with the student’s name on the tags.
Uniforms must be neat, clean, modest, and of appropriate SIZE and LENGTH.
Skirts and shorts MUST reach the knee. If a student is not dressed appropriately, they may be sent home.
Students may wear any outerwear or jackets in cold weather; however, they must remove them upon entering school buildings and classrooms.
Students must always display the Olivet Academy logo embroidered on their uniforms. Either the embroidered white polo or the navy sweater must be visible during school hours.
[PE Uniforms]
PE uniforms consist of the following items:
- Shirts: Gray athletic T-shirt or Gray Hooded Sweat Shirts
- Pants: Navy shorts, Navy athletic pants, or Navy sweatpants
- Shoes: Tennis shoes, Sneakers, or Basketball shoes
PE uniforms may be from any brand, but they must follow the required color guidelines. All PE uniforms must be clean, free of holes or fraying, and must fit the student appropriately and modestly.
Students who are not in full PE uniform will not be allowed to participate in gym class and will receive a zero for participation that day.
PE uniforms must be washed weekly and must not be stored in the gym locker room over the weekend.
