On December 6th, at the Christmas Lighting Ceremony in Dover, the middle and high school students shared the joyful news of Jesus’ birth through praise and dance. The students dedicated a total of five performances to the Lord in this heartwarming mini-concert:

  • 10-12th Grades Choir: Celtic Thanksgiving
  • Girls Dance Team: O Come All Ye Faithful
  • 1st-2nd Grades Choir: Do You Hear What I Hear
  • High School A Cappella: White Christmas
  • MS & HS Combined Choir: Hark! The Herald Angels Sing

The evening began with a sincere song of thanksgiving, offered to the Lord who loves us faithfully and completely. The girls dance team then presented a joyful and energetic performance of O Come All Ye Faithful, celebrating the glad news of Christ’s birth. The 1st-2nd grade choir also participated this year, beautifully performing Do You Hear What I Hear.

The high school a cappella team’s rendition of White Christmas perfectly matched the festive atmosphere. Finally, all students from 8th to 12th grade came together to lift up Hark! The Herald Angels Sing to God. Their unified, powerful voices were a blessing to everyone who attended, and many shared how joyful it was to proclaim the birth of Jesus together.

Audience members commented on the beauty of the students’ performances and how much their skills have grown. All glory was given to God for what He is doing through these young people.

The director who prepared the mini-concert shared that the purpose of the event was simple: that even one soul might be drawn closer to the Lord. She added that the students worked hard with the desire to give glory to God through every part of their preparation and performance. She also hoped their praise would warm and comfort someone’s heart, making the concert truly successful.

She concluded by expressing her prayer that the students will continue to use their God-given talents wholeheartedly to share the love of Christ—and noted that the middle and high school students’ dedication during practice truly shone on stage.
