This school year, several middle and high school students have chosen to serve in the elementary afterschool program as part of their Christian Service. Some assist as classroom aides, while others offer tutoring support to younger students.
To ensure their roles are carried out smoothly and effectively, a coordination meeting was held by the elementary afterschool teachers, along with afterschool coordinator T. Hathaway. During the meeting, they reviewed key rules and precautions for the student helpers to follow while supporting the program.
Following the meeting, Elementary School Director T. Claire met with the student volunteers to provide further clarification on these guidelines, ensuring they fully understood their responsibilities and expectations.
We pray that through this act of service, the students will grow in love, responsibility, and leadership, becoming positive role models for the younger children. Please join us in praying for the healthy and meaningful growth of all our students throughout this experience!
