Olivet Academy held its 2024 graduation ceremony on June 28th, marking a significant milestone in the school’s history. This year’s graduating class included the first students who began their 9th-grade journey at Olivet Academy and spent all four high school years within its halls.
High School Director Pastor John expressed immense pride in these pioneering graduates. In his address, he highlighted the dedication and growth of these students, who have become the embodiment of Olivet Academy’s mission and values.
The ceremony featured an inspiring valedictorian speech by Heewon Ham. She eloquently shared her personal transformation, attributing her success to God’s grace and the relentless efforts of her teachers. The graduation event was graced by the presence of many parents, who took time out of their busy schedules to attend despite the hot weather. Their support and participation added to the celebratory atmosphere.
Following the formal ceremony, the school hosted a vibrant graduation festival. Attendees enjoyed a variety of activities, including a bounce house and a water slide, which provided fun for students, teachers, and guests alike. The festival also featured a delightful array of refreshments, including hot dogs, popcorn, snow cones, and iced tea.
