Olivet Academy recently held an engaging and educational summer school event focused on birds of prey. The event featured a guest from the NYC Bird Alliance, who brought a variety of birds and other animals to the academy.
During the event, the representative from the NYC Bird Alliance provided in-depth explanations of the characteristics, habitats, and prey of these fascinating creatures. Students from both elementary and middle school attended the event, showing great interest and enthusiasm.
The students were captivated by the live animals and the wealth of information shared. The interactive session allowed them to gain a deeper understanding of animal behavior and ecology in a hands-on learning environment.
