Olivet Academy boys’ basketball team played their second game of the season against THRIVE Baptist School. On the court, our players gave their all and worked together, demonstrating the courage and teamwork that God has given them. Although the final score was 42-65, their perseverance until the very end showed that they are learning to honor God through their actions.
The outcome of the game is not everything; attitude and growth are the greatest gifts. Our players’ willingness to give their best, to learn, and to support one another reflects the character God is shaping in their lives. We are deeply grateful for their effort, persistence, and mutual encouragement.
Looking ahead, the team has more games—more opportunities to learn and grow:
- December 8: Upon Lake Christian Academy
- December 10: Forman School
- December 15: Marvelwood School
We continue to pray for the team, asking God to give them strength, wisdom, and joyful hearts in every game. May they grow not only in skill but also in character. We pray they will learn to trust God, respect their opponents, enjoy teamwork, and demonstrate Christ’s love in every play.
