Olivet Academy’s 6th–7th grade digital art class recently presented their third-quarter projects, demonstrating how they explored the power of creativity through hands-on design using Tinkercad.
At the start of the project, each student selected their own topic and transformed their ideas into unique 3D models, showcasing not only imagination but also design thinking and technical skills.
After completing their projects, students presented their work in front of their peers. They explained their design process, the challenges they faced, and how their ideas developed into final creations. This presentation session encouraged confidence, communication, and pride in their accomplishments.
This project highlighted that creativity becomes more meaningful when students take the time to develop and complete their ideas. By working through their designs step by step, they gained a deeper understanding of how concepts can evolve into finished work.
