On July 13, Olivet Academy officially kicked off its 2026 Summer School Program, welcoming students to an exciting summer filled with learning, exploration, and memorable experiences.
The Elementary Summer School will run for four weeks (July 13 – August 7). Throughout the program, students will strengthen their academic skills while enjoying a variety of exciting field trips and activities. Planned adventures include visits to the Bronx Zoo, Pawling Lake Beach, Zoom Flume Water Park, LEGOLAND New York, Stone Church Hiking Trail, a Puppet Workshop, and several Water Slide & Sprinkler Fun Days. After-school activities will also continue on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, providing students with even more opportunities to learn, play, and grow together.
The Middle School Summer Program began with an action-packed one-week schedule that combines education with hands-on experiences. Students will explore nature by visiting Greig Farm for blueberry picking, hike Monument Mountain, discover local history at the Thomas Cole National Historic Site, and learn about the region’s maritime heritage at the Hudson River Maritime Museum. The week will conclude with fun school-based activities, giving students time to reflect on their experiences while enjoying games and fellowship with their classmates.
This year’s Summer School Program offers students a wonderful opportunity to continue learning beyond the regular school year while building friendships and creating lasting memories through a balance of academics, outdoor adventures, and hands-on experiences.
We wish all of our students, teachers, and staff a joyful, safe, and enriching summer at Olivet Academy!
