OAc Amenia’s after-school program proudly launched its Baking Club, much to the excitement of the students. This week’s session was filled with laughter and anticipation as the group came together to bake a delicious harvest apple pie. Under the guidance of Ms. Jane, the club’s enthusiastic leader, students learned each step of the process and then eagerly rolled up their sleeves to create the pie from scratch.
As they worked together, joy spread across the room, and the sweet aroma of apples and cinnamon filled the air. The students couldn’t contain their pride when they finally saw the fruits of their labor-a beautifully baked apple pie.
The Baking Club aspires to not only teach the art of baking but also to cultivate important life skills such as teamwork, communication, time management, patience, responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment. Through this creative and hands-on experience, students are learning to enjoy the process while building cherished memories.
