On the afternoon of Thursday, June 5th, the 5th grade class took a delightful break from their studies with a small field trip to Kelly’s Creamery. The outing was filled with fun, laughter, and plenty of sweet treats!
The students kicked off the afternoon by playing a round of mini golf, where friendly competition and teamwork were on full display. With colorful golf balls and creative course designs, everyone had a chance to show off their skills—or just enjoy a few laughs with friends.
After working up an appetite, the class cooled off with delicious ice cream from Kelly’s Creamery. With a variety of flavors to choose from, each student found something to enjoy. The smiles on their faces made it clear that the day was a big hit.
“It was so much fun! I liked playing mini golf with my friends and trying a new ice cream flavor,” said one excited 5th grader.
The teachers shared that this trip was a simple yet meaningful way to celebrate the end of the school year and encourage positive social experiences. “Sometimes the best learning and bonding happens outside the classroom,” one teacher noted.
Though the trip was short, the memories made at Kelly’s Creamery were lasting—and a perfect way to wrap up a great school year.
