On December 15 at 4:00 p.m., the OAC Amenia Boys’ Basketball Team played their fourth game of the season in the school gym, facing Marvewood School. After a game marked by teamwork, effort, and determination, OAC Amenia earned a well-deserved victory with a final score of 51–39.
Although the results of earlier games had not gone in their favor, the team did not lose heart. Instead, the players took time to reflect, learn from their experiences, and address areas for improvement. They built on their strengths and focused especially on increasing their speed and on-court coordination during practices. In this game, their growth and progress were clearly evident, and we are truly proud of them.
On the court, the players trusted and supported one another, demonstrating the power of perseverance and unity. This victory is reflected not only in the final score, but also in the team’s attitude and commitment to continual growth. We give thanks to God for His guidance and for the dedication the players have shown throughout this journey.
At the same time, our cheerleaders brought energy and encouragement, faithfully supporting the team from start to finish. Whether on the court or on the sidelines, we are one body and one community, standing together with shared purpose.
We pray that the Lord will continue to grant the team wisdom and strength as they move forward—encouraging them to keep striving, growing, and improving in every practice and every game. May this spirit of unity, perseverance, and joy lead them onward with hope and confidence.
This victory marks not just a win, but a step forward in a journey walked in grace, strengthened by faith, and shared together as one team.
