Olivet Academy Elementary School has recently introduced typing classes for its students as part of its effort to prepare them for today’s increasingly digital world.
Recognizing that typing has become an essential skill for learning and communication, the school has begun incorporating typing practice into the classroom. Each class teacher guides and supports students as they develop their typing skills and gradually improve their speed and accuracy.
The typing program used by the school includes entertaining elements such as missions that students complete by typing. These interactive features help students stay focused while making the learning process enjoyable.
Through the typing program, students are also exposed to a wider range of vocabulary and more accurate word usage. The school expects that regular typing practice will not only strengthen students’ digital skills but also contribute to the development of their literacy.
By introducing typing classes at the elementary level, Olivet Academy Elementary School hopes to equip students with practical skills that will support their academic growth in the digital age.
