Elementary school recently came alive with the spirit of Easter during a joyous festival held in the chapel. From spirited performances to touching dramatizations, the event was a testament to the joy and celebration surrounding this special time of year.

The festivities kicked off with an enchanting display by the kindergarten students, who showcased their talents through a lively dance set to the uplifting rhythm of “Victory.” Their infectious enthusiasm set the stage for an eventful morning filled with music, laughter, and community spirit.

Next, it was the turn of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students to shine as they took to the stage with handsbells in hand. With precision and harmony, they performed beloved melodies such as “Mary Had a Little Lamb,” “Jesus Loves Me,” and “Amazing Grace,” captivating the audience with their melodic renditions.

As the program continued, the talents of the 4th and 5th grade students took center stage. The 4th graders delighted the audience with a spirited rendition of “Oh! Susanna” on their recorders, while the 5th graders marched in tune to “When the Saints Go Marching In,” accompanied by the harmonious piano played by our dedicated music teacher, Ms. Mifa.

However, the highlight of the festival came in the form of a captivating skit titled “Jesus is Alive,” presented by the elementary drama club. Comprising students from grades 3 to 5, they delivered a condensed yet powerful portrayal of Jesus’ crucifixion, burial, and resurrection. Through their heartfelt performance, they brought to life the message of hope and redemption central to the Easter story, leaving a lasting impression on all who witnessed it.

Throughout the festival, the grace of God was palpable, infusing every performance with a sense of reverence and joy. As students, teachers, and families came together to celebrate this sacred occasion, the spirit of Easter filled our hearts with gratitude, love, and a renewed sense of faith.

In conclusion, the Easter festival at our elementary school was a resounding success, thanks to the dedication and talent of our students, teachers, and staff. Through music, dance, and drama, we came together to honor the true meaning of Easter and rejoice in the love and grace of God that binds us all together as a community.
